Are you a freelance business consultant looking for your next project?

The Project

Share Bristol is an established Library of Things, operating on East Street since April 2024. Currently it is in a meanwhile space. It needs to find secure premises in the next 12 months. Share Bristol has the potential to become a fixture on the high street and branch out into skills workshops and repair activities

As part of the Bedminster Property Partnership programme (Programme – Local Property Partnerships — Platform Places) we are developing the business plan that will enable Share Bristol to secure a more permanent home on East Street.

The task

We are seeking a consultant to undertake business planning specific to Share Bristol Bedminster. The work will involve

  • consulting with the team and board to understand Share Bristol’s challenges and ambitions
  • designing a viable business model based on prospective available units on East Street and Share Bristol’s existing and potential income streams
  • Outlining the space requirements.
  • Researching the outline cost and income models for the activities to assess their ability to add financial as well as social value to the project.
  • Producing a report and recommendations on next steps

It is anticipated to be in the order of 10 days’ work undertaken over a period of no more than 2 months.

Further information can be obtained from Anna Ralph, annastasier@gmail.com.
