The City Farm’s education team are passionate in supporting teachers to deliver the curriculum through experiential learning sessions. We are happy to adapt workshops to suit individual class needs and if there is a specific topic or curriculum area that you would like us to cover, please let us know.
Our 4.5 acre site includes allotments, animal paddocks, children’s garden, digging area, indoor growing space and an outdoor kitchen with cob oven.
- Undercover space for lunch can be booked to extend your visit at £27 per hour.
- A full day trip including two workshops and the undercover space for lunch costs £300 (maximum 30 children).
- Workshops run for 1.5 – 2 hours with a maximum of 30 children. If you have a smaller group please contact us for prices.
- 10% off for visits booked by September and taken in September to January.
- It may not always be possible to accommodate self-directed group visits as they are usually focused into the peak 10am – 3pm period of the day at restricted times of the year.
- All school/holiday club groups must book ahead to ensure a visit is possible- see our Group Visits Policy (pdf)

We provide a nurturing and engaging environment at Windmill Hill City Farm in our 78-place children’s day nursery and Farm Adventurers (outdoor play provision) which can take 16 children.
