We are seeking a consultant to help to undertake a feasibility study on developing a community space within the redevelopment of the former United Reform Church building.

This is part of a wider project funded by Platform Places and the National Community Fund with the working title of ‘Bedminster Property Partnership’.

   The task:

  • Engaging with local stakeholders to explore potential uses of the space.
  • Outlining the space requirements for potential community uses, including timing of use and any specialist needs.
  • Researching the outline cost and income models for the activities to assess their ability to add financial as well as social value to the project.
  • Producing a report and recommendations on whether a community space is feasible, the parameters for making it sustainable and proposed next steps to realising it should be deemed possible.

It is anticipated to be under 10 days’ work undertaken over a period of no more than 3 months.
