The Farm’s place as a community hub makes it the perfect setting for discovering talented local makers, artisan food producers and top-quality street food vendors. Whether you’re searching for unique handmade products, delicious food, or simply a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery, Windmill Hill Market is a must-visit destination in the heart of Bedminster.
With over 40 stalls, there’s so much to browse and enjoy. The emphasis is on designer makers, with many varied handmade items from local craftspeople, including ceramics and pottery, clothing, accessories, homeware and décor, jewellery, prints and illustrations.
You’ll also find street food, local food and drink produce, slow fashion, Bruhaha pop-up taproom, as well as the farm café,
There are plenty of picnic spots amongst the community gardens, tree canopies, vegetable patches, animal fields and enclosures.
The first market of the year on 5 April coincides with BV Open Studios, across the road from the farm so you can make a day of it!
The market is organised by Geraldine Wise and David Pyne of GD Events, who have many years experience of managing a variety of market and events, and are passionate about supporting independent businesses and curating vibrant community driven events.
Food
A delicious selection of some of Bristol’s best street food is on offer to sustain you while you shop. The menus change with each market. There’s also home-cooked, carefully sourced food from The Farm’s cafe.

The event is very child-friendly with the Farm’s gardens, trails and animals to visit.
