Is your school looking for a fun way to teach students about nature and where our food comes from?

 

The City Farm’s education team are passionate in supporting teachers to deliver the curriculum through experiential learning sessions. 

Tours and workshops use our 4.5 acre site including the allotments, animal paddocks, children’s garden, digging area, indoor growing space and an outdoor kitchen with cob oven.

 

The team also offer nurture sessions for small groups and 1:1 sessions for education and wellbeing. Contact the education team for more information.

Helpful Information

Workshops run for 1.5 – 2 hours with a maximum of 30 children. If you have a smaller group, please get in touch with us for prices.

 

A full-day trip, including two workshops and the undercover space for lunch, costs £300 (maximum 30 children).

 

10% off for visits booked by September and taken from September to January.

It may not always be possible to accommodate self-directed group visits, as they are usually focused on the peak 10 am – 3 pm period of the day at restricted times of the year.

 

All school/holiday club groups must book ahead to ensure a visit is possible.

 

Undercover space for lunch can be booked to extend your visit at £27 per hour.
