NURSERY rooms

Our nursery is divided into four ‘blossom’ rooms, each carefully designed for a specific age group to support children’s growth and development.
We are a team of qualified and experienced members of staff, each of whom acts as a key person to a group of children. We ensure that a strong and secure bond is created with both the child and their family from the early stages all the way through their time with us.

Cherry Blossom

(9 months to 2 years)

Cherry Blossom is the room for children from nine months to two years. We have space for nine babies at any one time as the adult:child ratio is 1:3. 

PEAR Blossom

(1½ to 2½ years)

Pear Blossom is the room for children from 1½ to 2½ years. We have space for six under 2’s and twelve 2 to 2 ½ year olds at any one time as the adult: child ratio is 1:3 for the under 2’s and 1:4 for the 2 to 2 ½ year olds.

APPLE Blossom

(2 to 3½ years)

In the Apple Blossom Room we can accommodate twenty children at any one time as the adult: child ratio is 1:4. 

ORANGE Blossom

(3 TO 5 years)

Our Orange Blossom room can cater for 32 children aged between 3 and 5 years at any one time as the adult:child ratio is 1:8. We have a team of qualified and experienced staff, each of whom acts as a key person to a group of children. 

 

Children in this room are offered ample opportunities to further extend their independence skills e.g. staff encourage and support them to put on and take off their coats, be independent in toileting skills, change from indoor to outdoor shoes etc.

Please note a £20 administration fee is applied to all new waiting list applications. This is non-refundable and helps cover the administration costs of managing the waiting lists. It is not and should not be seen as a guarantee of, or deposit on, a place.

Please be aware we currently have longer waiting lists for places for children aged 3 and under.
