We'll have a range of materials and decoration ideas on offer,
including flower-making from waste plastic bottles, clay leaves, and
scrap fabric fruit and veg bunting, and scrappy pompoms. We’re also open to your ideas for how best to decorate the farm, please bring them with you!
.
We’ll provide all the tools, materials and guidance to help
you with your creations. You’re welcome to take one or two home, but we’d love to keep as many as possible to use for decorating the farm for its 50th Anniversary Fayre taking place on Saturday 12 September.
.
We will adorn the farm with our community-created decorations to add to the celebratory atmosphere, and draw people in from outside.
.
How it works:
The volunteer-led craft session runs from 6-8pm in the Training Room at the farm.
This room has step-free access and unisex toilets.
The session is for ages 18+.
If you have your own old plastic bottles and/or fabric and yarn scraps to use or share with others, please bring them along - the more the merrier.
.
Tickets work on a pay-what-you-can donation basis,
with all proceeds going towards the Windmill Hill City Farm's Our Golden Harvest Appeal. If you’re able to, we suggest donating £5–10 to cover the materials and contribute to the farm’s goal to raise
£50,000. You can either book a ticket in advance (our preference!), or make a donation on the day.
