Building confidence, skills, and community

Supported farm placements are suitable for adults with learning disabilities who are wanting to learn new skills, increase their independence, and work towards person goals. At the farm, we currently offer animal care placements and gardening placements that can be accessed through individual personal payments or referrals through Bristol City Council’s Support Planning team.

These placements offer valuable social contact, helping people build networks and form new friendships in a welcoming environment. Participants develop important soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and timekeeping, while also being introduced to innovative ideas and techniques that boost self-esteem and confidence.

 

Supported Farm Placements cost £31.50 per 2 hour session.
